WOW, Boston handed over the keys to the city to a crazed teenager.  Great idea!!

@ScottRinne Idiot. They are trying to catch a terrorist and the people are cooperating. I'd say that's very united and they should be proud.

I'm so divided by these pictures.  On the one hand I understand that for the safety of innocent citizens, it is necessary.  On the other hand, it worries me that one man can cause all this - the power he must feel he wields.  And how does the image of one man shutting down a major metropolitan city influence and encourage other mentally unstable people or those bent on terrorism?  There's no winning here.  But hats off to all the law enforcement working this case and I hope no more are killed or injured.

I don't like this locking down of cities. It smacks too much of totalitarianism.

@lacrossestar83 @silverfang1977 London never shut down during the "troubles," nor has Jerusalem or even Rome during the Lead.  Giving this much power to a evil bomber is far more twisted than he is,

There have been terror attacks in the past, such as Littleton and the Olympic Park bombing and entire cities weren't locked down to find the suspects in those.
