The city of Boston observed a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m. today, one week after two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring more than 180. As part of the tribute, bells rang across the city and throughout Massachusetts. Services for two of the dead were scheduled to take place today: a private funeral for restaurant worker Krystle Campbell, 29, and a memorial service for Lu Lingzi, 23, who was a Chinese graduate student at Boston University.
