“There’s always money in the banana stand,” George Bluth Sr., patriarch of Arrested Development’s Bluth family, once proclaimed on the critically-acclaimed sitcom about a dysfunctional, riches-to-rags family in Newport Beach, Calif. Although the Fox series was cancelled back in 2006, the Bluth family business is up and running in the real world, for the first time, to promote the series’ imminent return.

On May 26, Netflix will begin airing the show’s fourth season on its streaming subscription service. To drum up excitement, it has created a traveling, pop-up version of the family business. According to Variety, the Bluth’s Original Frozen Banana Stand Worldwide Tour started May 8 in London and will later venture across the pond to New York City and, ultimately, Los Angeles.

Freebie alert: The Today Show reports that the chocolate-dipped frozen fruit will be distributed for free to anyone who shows up at the banana-shaped stand. To find out if it’s coming to a city near you, check  the show’s new Twitter feed: @arresteddev.

The show’s fourth season, which consists of 15 episodes, will be released later this month exclusively on Netflix. Produced by Ron Howard, the original show only ran for three seasons from 2003 to 2006 and was cancelled due to low ratings. The entire main cast is expected to return.

We're at an orphanage right now in Haiti creating micro-businesses for the girls here and since, "there's always money in the banana stand", one of the items they're selling are frozen chocolate bananas.  Now if Gob could only roll up on a segway... we would still have to charge him though.  ("Oh sure, the guy in a $4,000 suit is going to buy a banana from an orphan.  C'mon!")

That is awesome.  Been chomping at the bit for May 26th to roll around for a while now.
