Prince Harry’s U.S. tour is in full swing now, and while Americans – especially actress Mia Farrow – are excited to see what shenanigans he will get himself into this time, no doubt the Royal family is hoping he focuses on supporting his charitable causes, not creating mayhem.

So far, so good. When the 28-year-old landed in Washington D.C. Thursday afternoon, he went straight to the nation’s Capitol to check out a HALO Trust exhibit about landmine removal, an issue that his late mother Princess Diana championed. The 28-year-old prince got to hang out with the 76-year-old Arizona Senator and former Republican presidential candidate John McCain, and he’s already entertained young children at a White House reception honoring military families with First Lady Michelle Obama. A soldier himself, the prince will visit Iraq and Afghanistan soldiers’ graves at Arlington National Cemetery Friday and chat with wounded veterans at Walter Reed Hospital.

Then he’ll fly out to Colorado Springs, where he will cheer on the British Armed Forces team competing in the Wounded Warriors Games, a paralympic event, on May 11 and 12. On May 14, Harry will touch down on the Jersey Shore, but don’t expect to find the party-hardy royal fist-pumping with Snooki, JWoww, and the Jersey Shore cast. He specifically requested to visit the parts “hardest hit” by Hurricane Sandy, so he’s going to walk around Mantoloking and tour Seaside Heights with N.J. Governor Chris Christie. Then the prince will play baseball in New York City through the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and cap off the trip with some horsing around — and by that, we mean, captaining a team at a polo match in Greenwich, Conn.

News outlets say the week is packed with wholesome activities to help “Dirty Harry” rehab his image after his last trip to the U.S., which was marred by TMZ photos of the royal holding his “crown jewels” while playing naked billiards with a woman in the VIP suite of a Las Vegas hotel. And he may never live down Halloween 2005, when he dressed up in Nazi garb. But while tabloids will continue to track his London clubbing antics, here’s hoping this run on tickets to the Greenwich polo match is the only frenzy the royal sparks.
