Are you a fan of Taylor Swift, but find her lyrics a little too complacent? Do you wish she was a little more forward with her feminism? Then do we have a Twitter account for you: @FeministTSwift, the online doppelganger of an imagined feminist Taylor Swift who has no qualms standing up for herself or her ideals in her refreshingly feminist lyrics.

Created by Clara Beyer, a rising senior at Brown University where she runs That Girl Magazine, a college blog devoted to “carefully walking the line between f—ing the patriarchy and recommending an awesome new lipstain,” the Twitter account went viral this week, gaining over 47,000 followers in its first few days of existence. Beyer considers herself both a feminist and a Taylor Swift fan, which she admitted to BuzzFeed “isn’t always easy.” Beyer launched the account last Tuesday after she tweeted the idea for it and a friend called her to make sure she followed through. Beyer did, and her 71 thought-provoking, clever and funny tweets have attracted over 75,000 followers so far. Here are some of our favorites:
