The world's fastest coaster is Formula Rossa at Ferari World, not Kingda Ka

The Viper at SFMM has a batwing element, and not a boomerang element. Other than that, it is great to see these pictures of past record breakers other than the typical Cedar Point bias that I sometimes see in the roller coaster community. Six Flags Magic Mountain had some incredible record breakers as well, and I am glad they are shown here.

@Valedc03ls It appears there is a SFMM bias here........

@twirtzy Of course there is bias to SFMM (that is obvious). However, I have rarely seen Six Flags Magic Mountain get much credit versus Cedar Point because in the roller coaster community Cedar Point is usually overly talked about too much. For example, rarely you hear about Superman: The Escape/Superman: Krypton Coaster get credit for being the first roller coaster to top the Strata/400 foot mark in 1997. People usually give credit to Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster (2003), a big six year difference. However, SFMM should get credit for being the first to break 400 feet, and the first continuous circuit credit would go to Top Thrill Dragster appropriately. At least Magic Mountain is getting some credit in the public eye, which is being shown here with some bias. I know it seems one sided, yet SFMM does not get as much credit as it needs (I hope this clarifies).
