WATCH: Comedians Punk Fans in New Mumford & Sons Music Video

There's something funny going on here. Can you figure out what it is?

Mumford & Sons released a new video Sunday, and it’s filled with banjos, barns and beards — but the band itself is nowhere to be seen. Instead, the English folk rockers let comedians Ed Helms, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte stand-in for them in the “Hopeless Wanderer” video. The result is by far the best Mumford video yet.

As the video begins, it’s nearly impossible to recognize the SNL, Arrested Development and The Hangover stars, since they are dressed as dead ringers for the band wearing their O Brother Where Art Thou-inspired attire, sporting burly beards and carting instruments into a sun-dappled field. Soon enough the facade crumbles as Helms and Bateman ogle each other and Sudeikis starts gnawing on Forte’s impressively authentic beard. The jig is up just as the bango-strumming vaudevillian jig gets started with the four comedy stars strutting their stuff on stage. While Helms’ banjo-playing skills are well-documented, the rest of the stars do a commendable job of stepping into the shoes of Mumford & Sons.

“Hopeless Wanderer” is the most recent single off of Mumford’s chart-topping album Babel.
