Did anyone really want this to happen though?

Though we doubt anyone really wanted them to exist, Pepsi-flavored Cheetos now exist.

As of right now, they’re only on sale in Japan, where they’re officially known as Pepsi Shuwa Shuwa, as the Daily Mail reports. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective), this soda-flavored junk food isn’t likely to make its way to the U.S. After all, Americans have already been introduced to an array of culinary oddities this summer, ranging from the Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joe to the limited-edition watermelon-flavored Oreo.

Curious what you’re missing out on though? “In these snacks the cheese powder has been replaced with a cola powder that is disturbingly not brown,” writes a taste-tester from The Impulsive Buy, whose review includes photos of the product, for those who’d like a visual. “The first sensation, which I did not expect, was a very acidic bite. It’s very citrusy, almost sour. And it hits hard. It tries to capture the citrus notes of Pepsi, but it’s over the top. Too lemony.” He also adds that the puffy little snacks “fizz a little” when you chew. “It’s all about attention to detail, guys. I tip my hat to Frito-Lay for that one.”

Another reviewer took to YouTube to share his experience trying out this bizarre product. His first impression? “I’m not gonna say it tastes good.”
