You know how sometimes you just get an urge to hoist yourself 415 feet in the air and then come plummeting to the ground at 90 mph? Oh, you don’t? Well, if you change your mind, you can head to New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure to test out its newest ride coming in 2014.
Park officials announced Thursday that the historic Rolling Thunder coaster would be dismantled to accomodate the new attraction, which they call the world’s tallest drop-tower ride, USA Today reports. It will be called Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom and will include three towers, each 41 stories tall. Oh, and it will be nestled inside a loop of Kingda Ka — the world’s tallest coaster — so riders can see its trains hurtling toward them at 128 mph. You know, to enrich the experience.
From the top of Zumanjaro on a clear day, riders will be able to see Philadelphia, which sits 52 miles away. At 415 feet high, the ride will be considerably taller than the Statue of Liberty. Just take a moment and let that sink in.
