Spencer surprises his boyfriend Dustin with an elaborately-choreographed marriage proposal in the plywood aisle

Forget rosy sunsets and candlelit dinners. Turns out even the plywood aisle at Home Depot can be the right setting for romance, if you do it tight.

Earlier this month, Dustin thought he had gone with his roommate to the Salt Lake City store to help pick out lights for a party. Instead, the outing was a ruse arranged by his boyfriend (with help from friends and family), who staged a one-of-a-kind marriage proposal. As friends and family danced to Betty Who’s Somebody Loves You, Dustin walked up in a bespoke suit, holding a sign that read, “If I am good to you … want to be good to me?” before popping the question on bended knee.

This viral video, posted to YouTube on September 11, has already racked up more than eight million views. Watch it to see why.

I'll rather commit suicide, face a firing squad, or be eaten by a crocodile, than marry a man. Same poles repel.
