O.J. Simpson appears for a hearing in Clark County District Court May 13, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

O.J. Simpson has been busted stealing cookies from the prison cafeteria, the National Enquirer reported Thursday.

Guards caught the former football star, who is serving a 33-year sentence for armed robbery, attempting to smuggle more than a dozen oatmeal cookies under his shirt. Had he made away with his loot, Simpson would be chowing down against strict doctor’s orders—docs have ordered the diabetic former athlete to lay off the sweets.

looking at him - it is scary and humbling watching his reversal of fortune continue.

Let him have the cookies. He'll just kill himself. No loss.

OJ doesn't look like he's missed any meals in prison.  Who knew prison food was so good, especially the oatmeal cookies?

At least it wasn't a WHITE CRACKER we saw what he does to those. :)

From that picture, I'd say he ate more of them than he was accused of stealing. Several truckloads more, to be exact.

He should get 2 consecutive life sentences for that alone. Poor cookies.

If it's not chocolate chip, you must acquit.

He may have gotten caught with the dozen oatmeal cookies in his shirt, but he got away with the three pumpkin pies he had stuffed up his butt.

it is apparent that he is a habitual criminal so just throw him away forever and throw the key away and let him rot where he belongs .

How is this news? Steal sports memorabilia, some folks lives, and now . . .      cookies. What's the surprise? And who gives half a hoot in Helena?

Oj is a POS. POS' keep doing wrong things after they are locked up. POS' try to act like they are the victim after they kill people and victimize others. Also see Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias, and Drew Peterson.

Let the murdering thug punk eat all the cookies he wants, matter of fact have Oprah or Al Sharpton send him boxes of candy and soda. That will get him out of prison sooner, not the exact way he wants out but at least he will be out. Justice a wonderful thing when it works.

Why are prisoners even getting cookies in the slammer anyway? And if Simpson wants to put himself in diabetic coma and die, who are we to judge?

@venus-judge Just waiting for the self righteous to cross some line and get jacked too.

Happens all the time to you preaching types.  Like you, who only feel sanctified when others suffer.

You are so special, until you get caught at something.

@Openminded1 Why would either Oprah or Al Sharpton or Sarah Palin for that matter be interested in sending him cookies?

AndrewRiegle

@hankbgood Clearly if we took cookies away from prisoners, people would stop committing crimes.   hankbgood for President

DBritt
DBritt

@hankbgood Yes, because we put people in prison to suffer lives of deprivation.  That'll teach 'em to stop their criming!  No cookies for the guilty!

@DBritt @hankbgood Lol, you said criming. I didn't even think it was a word. I was going to make fun of you, then I decided I better Google it first.
