This was a simple but pretty funny sketch: a series of “screen tests” from famous actors auditioning for roles in the 50 Shades of Grey movie. So yes, it was one of those sketches where the whole point was to pack in as many of the cast members’ celebrity impressions as possible. Kate McKinnon nailed it as both Jane Lynch and Tilda Swinton, Taran Killam shined as Christoph Waltz, and Nasim Pedrad got in on the action with a pretty solid Aziz Ansari. Some of the new cast members had their moments too, but none could live up to the recently-departed king of impressions, Bill Hader (never forget).
Okay when are they going to show Obama's smug happiness and Pelosi and Reid behavior on this topic? I keep seeing the Repubs waiting to talk and the Dem are just going on TV blaming the Reps. There is plenty of blame to go around. I hope these days are deducted from their pay.
And I can never figure out if being gay or gay sexual behaviour is such a good thing and to be rewarded why do they (SNL, Miley, etc) keep showing it like people who are doing it are doing a bad thing?
