Ronan Farrow attends the premiere of "Kill Your Darlings."

With a show set to air early next year, Ronan Farrow is MSNBC’s newest face, and my, is it a pleasant one. We made a guide of everything you need to know about the soon-to-be weekday host:

1. Whenever Farrow is mentioned in an article, his name is inevitably followed by the cliff note that he’s Mia Farrow and Woody Allen’s biological son.

2. But after Allen got involved with his adopted daughter, Farrow chose to lose touch with his director Dad. “I cannot have a relationship with my father and be morally consistent,” he said. Farrow, who grew up with 14 adopted siblings, continued, “To say Soon-Yi was not my sister is an insult to all adopted children.” And if that doesn’t say it clearly enough, there’s always this tweet:

(Mia retweeted with the message “Boom”.)

3. Although paternity is questionable. Mia told Vanity Fair that Frank Sinatra is “possibly” Ronan’s father.

4. Did we mention that his Twitter is hilarious? He could just read his tweets on-air for an hour and we’d be happy.

5. Paternity issues aside, the true reason to marvel at Farrow is his incredibly big brain. Farrow started college at Bard at 11. He was their youngest graduate ever at 15. This gave Farrow ample time to graduate from Yale Law School at 21 and become a Rhodes scholar at 23.

6. He is an activist like his mother. From 2001 to 2009 Ronan was a UNICEF Spokesperson for Youth and has been a champion of Darfurian refugee issues.

7. Farrow has already had a successful career in politics. He has worked as a speechwriter for Richard Holbrooke, was a member of the Obama administration advising on NGO and humanitarian affairs in Afghanistan and Pakistan in 2009, and was appointed as Hillary Clinton’s special adviser for global youth issues in 2011.

8. On top of his reporting for publications like The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, and the Wall Street JournalFarrow recently reached a deal with Penguin on his first book.

9. Did we mention he’s only 25? What did you do today?

10. Ronan is also a songwriter and guitarist. Ol’ Blue Eyes would be proud.

Now if you don’t mind, we’ll go fangirl somewhere else.
