New England Patriots' Rob Gronkowski

Rather than just sit around watching football during the New England Patriots’ bye week, tight end Rob Gronkowski wants to place his focus on women who either want to learn more about football, want to develop a few gridiron skills, or just want to party with an NFL player.

So he’s throwing the Citi Rob Gronkowski Football 101 Women’s Clinic on Nov. 11  “highlighting the finer points of the game of football and beyond,” at Harvard Stadium in Allston, Mass.

The bizarre ladies-only clinic will give its attendees the chance to interact directly with Gronkowski, gain football knowledge from Boston-area football coaches, and have a scrimmage on the stadium field. The “social twist” Gronkowski is boasting about is a cocktail hour — wouldn’t be a Gronk party without one — featuring his signature Gronk-tinis, and will end the night with a coffee and dessert hour. All this for $99.

Gronkowski is no stranger to partying, though. Earlier this year he showed up at Kansas State University to visit his younger brother, but had a well publicized, beer-swilling weekend.
