A mysterious lawnmower aficionado cut what the AP describes as “huge amounts of grass” from an Australian farmer’s field.

And no, we’re not using “grass” as a euphamism.

The farmer noticed his lawn was manicured and his grass was taken Monday, when he reported it to the police. Although the crime could have been committed any time in the last three weeks since the field is far away from the farmer’s property.

The grass was worth a reported $4,000, but who knows how much it’ll sell for on the grass black market.
