What’s more TV-friendly than teen vampires/teen Upper East Siders/teen post apocalyptic archers? The CW’s latest hour-long drama endeavor following the rise of the one, the only, Fred Durst.

According to TV Guide:

The Noise, created by Durst, chronicles the rise of a young artist in the 1990s who escapes a tumultuous home life and forms a wildly popular band with a unique sound. Durst, of course, hit it big with his rap metal band Limp Bizkit, which formed in 1994 and went on to superstardom with hits like “Nookie,” “Break Stuff” and their cover of George Michael’s “Faith.”

Durst has previously appeared in House and a CBS sitcom not-so-ironically titled Douchebag.

Here’s to hoping that biographical gems — like his sex tape or publicly talking about having sex with Britney Spears in spite of her strong denial — make it to the series.
