Jack Robbins, an eight-year-old autistic boy from Frisco, Texas, only speaks when he wants something, and it’s usually just one word or a sound. But last week, his family discovered that he can actually sing some of the words to Katy Perry’s “Roar,” even when the music isn’t playing in the background, and a YouTube video of his rendition is going viral.
“I was so happy to know something that he liked,” Clara Robbins, Jack’s mother, told News 8 Daybreak. “I don’t know what his favorite food is, I don’t know what his favorite color is. I know he likes music, but I didn’t know he liked a particular song.”
