Can’t stop, won’t stop.

These tangled up days-old twins seem to think they’re still in the womb, while basking in a new bathing technique pioneered by French nurse Sonia Rochel. Aaaahhhhh….

Sigh... it's quite obvious a lot of people know nothing about babies here... it is innate for human's to hold their breath when water touches our faces,..  Innate!..  google that word. Ever heard of the "water baby"? babies can swim under water, completely submerged from birth... we don't of course put our babies in the swimming pools from birth because of bacterias and so on...

Why would you bath a newborn baby like that? sponge bath? are you kidding me? have you seen what they are covered in when they are born?... it takes more than a few baths to get all that off, and the stuff welds itself into the baby's hair!... This bath is perfectly fine!...

They look lovely and warm to me, and sleeping peacefully still so they are obviously quite content...

Can we all quit with the stupid now please?!!

Oh and as for the " gross" comment...Martin Harvey, Never have children, for their sake.

What all the hype about I seem toy babies move more than this , and what else could they do they are crammed into a small tub , so they moved thaere hands very little , This is only cute to the parents , no one else cares ! I seem this on Tv and thought it would be something to watch I couldn't have been more wrong , They don't even look alike or even real !

A lot of ignorance in the comments. Two-day old infants who are uncomfortable AT ALL would be screaming their heads off. These two appear entirely blissful. And as for the fear of drowning--the nurse is holding them firmly. We've all seen infants taken swimming, including underwater. The water is obviously warm, the babies feeling safe and comfortable. As for the 'gross' comment...really?

Those babies seem pretty peaceful to me.

Newborns don't need to be fully immersed in water for bathing. Also, the procedure didn't look safe. If either baby had slipped just a little it could have drowned by aspirating water into its lungs. Whatever this new technique is, it's certainly not something I would suggest or support.

Good Lord, that isn't  cute--they're FREEZING.   They're trying to suck the warmth from one another.   Who needs to bathe a "days old" newborn like that?   Hell, give 'em a sponge bath and keep them nice and warm.   Stupid.
