A man has been reunited with his dog Maggie after finding her “buried alive” in the remains of his house, which was destroyed Sunday when a tornado ravaged Washington, Illinois, Weather.com reports.
When Jonathan Byler Dann, 37, emerged after the storm hit, the house had been annihilated, and Maggie was missing. About 30 hours later, when family and friends were helping Dann in the aftermath, they heard “a faint bark” and discovered the dog underneath the carpeting. Maggie is expected to be okay.
