A demonstrator kisses a riot police officer on November 16, 2013 during a protest in Susa against the high-speed train.

Maybe all we really do need is love?

An Agence France-Presse photographer snapped this image of a protestor during a demonstration over the construction of a high-speed rail in Susa, a tiny town in northwestern, Italy near the French-Swiss Alps.

Protestors descended on the tiny Alpine village Saturday to rally against the construction of a planned high-speed line between Milan and Paris, which critics say is too expensive and comes at great environmental cost.

While previous protests have turned violent with police responding by using tear gas, last weekend’s protest was a peaceful march.

Photographer Marco Bertorello said he watched a young woman run up to one of the riot-equipped policemen, throw her arms around him and lay a kiss on his plexi-glass visor. The young officer closed his eyes and embraced the fleeting moment before pushing her off as it were an attack.

What you don't know maybe is what the girl said to journalists afterwards : " i wish i could hang that policeman and his collegues by his feet " Mussolini's memories.

In the picture I see a man abused by liberal woman. The world is full of manipulative women using mental rape on men. Yet all we can think how cute that was and love and all but that was pure evil doing it's work.

My mother who is from Estonia, told me of how her country freed itself from Russian occupation by forming a 600 km row of singing Estonians.....it worked...

@Zenobia She didn't cram her tongue in his mouth, didn't even put her lips directly on his skin, hardly violence. A grab on the ass, that could be considered violence. A peck on the visor? I get pecks on the cheek all the time, even from people I don't know. Sometimes as greetings. I guess I'm just being abused by violent people! Manipulation is not violence. Otherwise many a boyfriend and girlfriend or housewife and husband, or sometimes even between strangers, would be in trouble for all the kisses they ever gave to get their way or sway a situation.

So that means every man who ever kissed me just to lure me into getting laid on a tipsy night punched me in the face, right?

@LeeJohnson Please, read the full story in the link I posted and Alberto's comment. I'm Italian, this story didn't end up with what may seem just like an attempted kiss rejected by an evil cop. The pic went viral and the girl had interviews exactly to dismiss the pacific interpretation of the kiss and literally said "I would hang these (the cops) filthy pigs upside down" and that she only felt disgust for that boy. After that "kiss" she wetted her fingertips with her saliva and tried to put them on the cop's lips, she insulted him on purpose knowing that he couldn't respond. How come is that "not violent"? Isn't it a little different from a friend's attempted kiss?

(and frankly, yes, if a stranger in a bar kissed me to lure me into getting laid as you said, I would definitely feel as if he punched me in the face, and react accordingly)

Our police forces are hardly defendable and they are often violent as most Italians know, but I don't think we should respond to violence with more violence - not even of this kind. We should be better than those we claim to fight.
