Instead of live-tweeting the turkey-cooking process on Thanksgiving, why not have the turkey do the tweeting?
Fast Company points out that Oracle is blogging about how to make a “Turkey Tweeter,” which requires connecting a Vernier Go!Temp USB Temperature Probe to a Raspberry Pi computer and writing a Java embedded app that will translate the temperature of the turkey into tweets.
However, you should probably only take up this project if you have a knack for this kind of thing: otherwise the turkey may never get cooked.
