A 10-year old Michigan girl was reunited with her puppy Friday after the dog was allegedly taken by her mom’s ex-boyfriend.
Hannah Wise and her mother filed a lawsuit against the mother’s ex to get the white toy poodle, named Mystery, back, the Detroit Free Press reports. Hannah’s mom, Adrienne Lenhoff, had been dating Mitchell Rector for five years until the relationship ended this year. In the lawsuit, Lenhoff alleges that Rector kept many of her belongings, including Mystery.
When Hannah and Mystery were reunited, she said it was “one of the happiest days of my life.”
