Star Wars fans who have an extra $200,000 laying around now have a totally rational investment plan: Han Solo’s blaster.

A lighter version of the original DL-44 blaster, used by Harrison Ford’s character Han Solo in the Star Wars trilogy, will be auctioned off Dec. 21 online at invaluable.com.

The starting price for the weapon is $200,000. Inspired by the German Mauser C96 handgun, the blaster was custom made in resin from a cast of the blaster used in 1977’s Star Wars and is even emblazoned with the same serial number as the lost original weapon. It was used for both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

The description notes that the weapon “would have been used in the majority of scenes that feature Han, with the heavier, live-fire weapon being used for close-up shots. Particularly noteworthy scenes requiring this lighter version are when Darth Vader uses the force to lasso the blaster out of Han’s hand in Empire, and in Jedi when Han wrestles with a stormtrooper to regain possession of his blaster during the Rebels’ encounter with Imperial forces on Endor.”

For those looking to add a blaster to their collection, may the force be with you.
