Ugh.

It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for: Saturday. It also happens to be the day that Rebecca Black released her highly anticipated follow-up single to Internet-hate sensation “Friday.”

The club beat is a bit more tolerable than her notorious single “Friday,” which netizens lambasted as the “worst song ever” just a few short years ago, and which Black recently revisited — on Black Friday (get it?).

I can't believe Rebecca Black's actually made a come-back! This is brilliant in the absolute worst way possible.

I did a full review of the track on my blog www.wildfire-music.com
Check it out, it's worth the read.

You write for Time? There's no analysis here, there's no discussion of the purposeful callbacks and parody of Friday, there's no nothing. Fail article is fail and fail writer is fail.

This song is actually good. And it is meant to be a parody, which should have been obvious, but i've noticed that most people on the internet don't understand parody, if Gawker commentators are any indication.
