Remember those career aptitude tests they had you take in middle school, where you’d fill out a bunch of questions and it’d tell you you should pursue a job as a librarian or a carpenter or something? Rasmussen College has created an easy, interactive version of that test, and it’s much more fun than the middle school version.

Rasmussen used statistics from the U.S. Labor Bureau to determine what job is the right choice for people who possess different skills, such as artistic and mathematic. You move the sliders based on how advanced your skills are, and the test will spit out career options.

The test is just a way to get people to apply to Rasmussen College. Wack.

This is a common-sense approach to getting  a good idea of the career matches you'll get. the only thing that concerns me is that it doesn't really ask you too many questions. It is easy but sometimes easy isn't always good. so I wouldn't base you entire career path on this test but it does give you a good idea. I plan on linking this to my blog at

thanks for this cool test!
