Find Out What You’d Look Like as Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber and Other Celebrities

A little creepy, but very cool.

Admit it, you’ve always kind of wanted to know what it would feel like to be the president of the United States, or a ruthless fictional drug lord or maybe even the subject of a famous painting.

Well, now you can at least find out what you’d look like as different celebrities thanks to a handy little face substitution web app. It uses your webcam to map points of your face and then lays different faces on top. Developer Audun Øygard created this open-source JavaScript project so that as you move, the mask moves with you, Fast Company reports. It’s still in its demo stages though, and works best if you’re using Google Chrome in a well-lit room.

A few of us here at TIME gave it a whirl and while it certainly wasn’t perfect, it was highly entertaining.

Here’s Walter White:

And Kim Kardashian:

And Sean Connery:

And the Biebs:

And even Mona Lisa:

“It’s a really eerie effect to ‘wear’ someone else’s face when you’re mostly used to seeing your own face in the mirror,” Øygard tells Fast Company. He’s right — it’s kind of unsettling, but also kind of awesome, to see yourself as someone famous.

Try it for yourself here.

I remember the days when Time published actual journalism.

Wow, the most effeminate picture was when she had Justin Bieber's face... not surprised

What a waste of time. However, good on the developers for coming up with something that apparently a lot of people are interested in.
