Health experts have suspected for a while that Haiti’s cholera epidemic, which has upset the nation’s recovery after the Jan. 12 earthquake, came from a single source. Those suspicions have now been confirmed.
The cholera epidemic which has claimed the lives of more than 1,000 Haitians has now spread to it’s neighbor, the Dominican Republic, which shares the Island of Hispaniola with grief-stricken Haiti.
Protesters in Haiti attacked United Nations forces yesterday, accusing them of causing the country’s cholera outbreak.
