Feet that a Russian tanker dubbed the Renda, trying to resupply icebound Nome, Alaska with 1.3 million gallons of fuel, progressed on Tuesday as a U.S. Coast Guard ship broke ice around it. The pair of ships went 50 miles on Monday and are still nearly 100 miles from the coast (via CNN)
