The Israeli military shot and killed four scuba divers off the Gaza coast on Monday, stopping what Israeli officials allege was a terrorist plot.
Details on the incident were still scarce, but the BBC reports Israel engaged the boat and divers as they were headed north toward Israel from the waters off of Palestinian-controlled Gaza.
The incident follows a deadly and controversial Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla last Monday that left nine activists dead. (via BBC News)
