Between figuring out “whose ass to kick” over the BP oil spill, and putting children to sleep at graduation ceremonies, President Obama found the time to weigh in on the baseball controversy surrounding Armando Galarraga. The President was asked in an NBC interview about the much-discussed blown perfect game last week, when umpire Jim Joyce botched a call at first base in the ninth inning.

“I think that baseball is going to have to take a look at what football and basketball already decided, which is replay may in some cases be appropriate,” Obama said during an extensive interview on the Today show.

Still, Obama said he agreed with baseball commissioner Bud Selig in not retroactively awarding Galarraga a perfect game.
