After reportedly being snatched from her front yard while playing with her brother, four-year-old Alisa Maier has been found alive, after more than 24 hours, more than 70 miles from home.

The Associated Press reports that Alisa was found after St. Louis County officials received reports about a girl wandering at a car wash. Witnesses said they noticed her after a car with a loud muffler got their attention.

Alisa, looking tired, was taken to a hospital and has been reunited with her family. Police are still on the hunt for the abductor, with only vague details – he is possibly a white man in his late teens or early 20s with dark hair. In total, at least 60 police officers and 100 area residents assisted in Alisa’s search.
