What happens when you live in a $20 million mansion in the center of London? You throw “porn disco” parties.

The Westminster City Council took legal action against Edward Davenport and banned him from holding any commercial events in his home which include “porn disco” parties, pole-dancing classes and sex parties.

Davenport, owner of The Porn Disco mansion at 33 Portland Place, is known for throwing extravagant parties in his five-story, 100-room mansion. The Daily Mail reported that last December the mansion’s swimming pool was filled with cognac and guests were allowed to row across it.

What exactly is a “porn disco” party?  We checked out an online flyer for the soiree, which advertised that for a mere £10: “You’ll be greeted by Pimpcats and Discochicks and your every need attended to by our cast of extras, fluffers and skin flick wannabes.” And, of course, it’s “[a]ll in the best possible taste!”

Testimony to the Westminster Council allege that the property hosted all-night sex parties where guests were charged an entry fee of £90. The council has no problem with Davenport hosting his wild events, but requires that he get a permit to use his place of residence for commercial purposes. Davenport disputes the finding, arguing his activities weren’t commercial and didn’t disturb the neighborhood. (via BBC)
