Playgirl pinup, father of Sarah Palin’s grandson and all-around fame lover Levi Johnston has announced a new project: running for office in Palin’s home turf.
Johnston’s manager confirmed that he will attempt to follow in Sarah Palin’s footsteps and run in Wasilla, Alaska — as part of a reality TV show, of course. He’ll either run for mayor or for city council.
Just a few problems with this: Wasilla doesn’t elect a mayor until 2011, and Johnston missed the filing deadline to run for city council. Maybe the show will only be semi-real, like The Hills.
Either way, Johnston’s manager shot down doubters when talking to the Associated Press, comparing Levi to — wait for it — Jesus. “People questioned Jesus Christ, so I definitely don’t care about these mere mortals questioning Levi Johnston,” he said.
