On last night’s Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert packed his audience with military personnel — and brought along a high-profile guest to salute them.
After dedicating his show to the combat troops returning from Iraq, Colbert gave his audience American beer and hot dogs, with Vice President Joe Biden serving as hot-dog vendor. Biden quipped that he only has two constitutional duties — breaking ties in the Senate and serving hot dogs to returning troops.
He then brought on “conflict analyst” Yogi Berra. On the Iraq War, Berra said, “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.”
