You’re scanning items at your local grocery store when a pair of sweetened words sends chills down your health-conscious spine.
That’s the reaction manufacturers of corn syrup are looking to remodel. The AP notes that the sweetener’s lagging image has prompted the Corn Refiners Association to aim for a new name: “corn sugar.”
