Mashable is reporting that a security flaw on Twitter’s site has been abused, redirecting thousands of users to third-party websites and forcing some to post retweets. There has been no official word yet from Twitter.

At the moment, third-party applications are bug-free, so stick with TweetDeck, Tweetie and the like for the time being. And if the Twitter.com bug forced you to post something, you can delete it with a third-party application.
