Looks like conservative pundit Juan Williams, who is largely known for his provocative commentary on FOX News, let his tongue slip too far this time and ticked off the wrong news outlet: the one he works for!

National Public Radio terminated Williams’ contract after his FOX comments to host Bill O’Reilly that: “If I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

And NPR, in turn took none too kindly, feeling he’s lost his ed cred: “His remarks on The O’Reilly Factor this past Monday were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.”
