If it involved the World Cup, it was popular on Twitter in 2010.

According to Twitter’s list of the year’s top trends, nobody could stop talking about soccer’s biggest event. “FIFA World Cup” took second place for the year, with noisemaking “Vuvuzela” and psychic octopus “Pulpo Paul” taking two other spots in the top 10.

And Justin Bieber only took eighth place on Twitter this year? Better step up your game, kid. (Luckily, he was still the top person trending on the site.)
