Does France have it in for Lady Gaga? Or does the pop diva’s fury over having a concert canceled by bad weather mean a better name for her might be “Princess Wah-wah”?

Her Ladyship waxed hacked-off on Twitter Sunday when she and the 28 big rigs transporting the set of her Monsterball tour were forced off snow-covered highways en route to their Paris concert, the result of a general ban on trucks due to heavy snowfall issued by French transport authorities. But the Gagster apparently felt she (and her fans Français) were being victimized in particular by the move. A few hours after Paris event organizers decided they’d have to cancel the Sunday night show, Lady Gaga went Drama Queen, and let fly with a string of temperamental tweets.

“All 28 of my trucks for the Monsterball were detained by the French government going on over 26 hrs, 2 of my employees were arrested trying to get into Paris so we could perform,” she posted from her BlackBerry at around 3 PM. “I am furious and devasted (sic), its (sic, again) unfair to my fans and to me.” Her fans have reciprocated, tweeting their outrage using the Twitter hashtag #getgagagoing. (“Hey French government, where do you think gaga got that meat for her dress? Don’t mess with this bitch”.)

Doth the Lady protest too hysterically about bad weather that has left millions across Europe stranded? Maybe, but she’s got a bit more gripe to go on than just that. Back in October, two of Lady Gaga’s French concerts were canceled due to transport disruption and fuel shortages created by strikes against government pension reform. Now she and her posse are stranded by a truck ban that few other countries thought it necessary to impose. And to her credit, LG’s tweeted tantrum seemed mostly to reflect her deep disappointment at seeing her Paris devotees let down once again.

“I love Paris + I love my French fans. I’m sorry little monsters,” she tweeted later, offering up the only gift circumstances allowed. “A photo of storm, I’m stuck on bus.”

A let up in the bad weather—and descending Gagaian hackles—make chances for curtains going up Monday night’s Paris concert a better than even bet.
