Wrestling fans, this is the day you’ve all been waiting for.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is returning to the WWE to host Wrestlemania 27.

The announcement came during Monday Night Raw to a dimmed room as the audience was primed to hear his famous battle call, “Do you smell what The Rock is cooking? The Rock has come back to Wrestlemania. The most electrifying man of all of entertainment is hosting the most electrifying event of all of entertainment!” The big event takes place April 3 in Atlanta.

The Rock left wrestling in 2004 to pursue a career as a movie star, going by his real name, Dwayne Johnson. He exercised his star potential in The Scorpion King, a spin-off to The Mummy, and kid-friendly fare like The Tooth Fairy. It’s unclear if his return to the wrestling world will extend beyond the April hosting gig. NewsFeed sure would like to see the 38-year-old — who’s still one of the biggest names in the industry — back in the ring to fight.
