Mark Zuckerberg may be richer than almost everyone, more powerful than world leaders and able to make friends and enemies in a single bound. But can he be a comic book hero, too?

Bluewater Productions, a Canadian comic production company, has released a biographical comic book portraying the life of the Facebook co-founder.

Titled “Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook” (how original!), journalist Jerome Maida, who penned the book, said that he was fascinated by the world’s youngest billionaire and became interested in uncovering the dirt behind his harsh reputation. (Didn’t we see this story already? Oh that’s right, it’s The Social Network, but in anime.)

“Rightly or wrongly, Mark dealt harshly with some people on his way to where he is today,” Maida said on the Bluewater website. “As we see, he left many people feeling betrayed. I try my best to be fair here. No one is totally innocent in this story. I try to represent each of the major players’ point of view.”

While the printed comic hit shelves on Wednesday at the price of $6.99, another movie staring the Mighty Zuck — or at least the character of him — might not be far behind. Hayden 5 Media has optioned the script and hopes to release an animated movie based on the comic in the near future.

We’re sure Mr. Facebook will be thrilled. (via Mashable)
