Sure, it’s been around for a while. But it never gets old.

Anyone with parents who attempt to grapple with technology will appreciate this user-submitted Tumblr where readers send in texts from their parents which are always either a) hilarious, b) baffling, or c) a combination of the two. When Parents Text then presents the text conversation in script format.

This Tumblr has been around for awhile and it’s gotten to the point where parents actually know it exists and some of them design their texts with the hope of being featured–these amount to the least funny posts.

But the genuine texts, where parents innocently misuse text-speak, get wild with emoticons or just make random, parent-esque comments are hilarious. An awesome recent example that we loved:

DAD: .) I love you too!

DAD: Oops sorry about the cyclops.

They’re simple and sweet and the best of them will remind you how adorable  your own parents usually are.
