Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert: It’s an Ice-Cream War

Jimmy Fallon is eyeing Stephen Colbert’s perch — on the ice cream market. In a nod to the fake newsman, Fallon is launching his very own “Late Night Snack” flavor to commemorate his two-year anniversary at Late Night.

The latest Fallon-inspired Ben & Jerry’s addition features vanilla bean ice cream, fudge-covered potato chip clusters, all with a salty caramel swirl. But is it good enough to make me want to give up the “AmeriCone Dream”?

Online food magazine SlashFood rates the newest flavor as a solid “A,” saying it reminds them of another flavor that pleases, “Chubby Hubby.” But, as with food, taste is personal. The question remains whether NewsFeed will be pulling it out as a late night snack in the wee hours.

That, folks, can only be solved by a taste test. We’ll be the judge of that.
