The stars might be dubious on Dancing with the Stars, but America still tunes in to see them strut their stuff.

But sadly, since it’s a reality show, Dancing with the Stars must send someone packing. Mike Catherwood, co-host of Love Line, was the first dancer to go home this season. He had scored low points and had made a gradual improvement from last week, but nobody was really shocked to see him go. He had been in the bottom three with talk-show host Wendy Williams and boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.

Catherwood left the show with nothing but kind words, especially about his partner, Lacey Schwimmer. “I’ve made a lifelong friend,” he said.
