On Monday, actor Keanu Reeves said that Bill & Ted 3 is in the works.

After saying last September that he wanted to star in a third movie, it seems that Reeves might just get his wish. He played Ted for the first time in 1989, starring in sci-fi comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and reappeared after two years in a sequel: Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.

Two decades later, Bill & Ted fans can realistically hope for another movie. According to Reeves, original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are just six weeks away from having a draft ready. While he wouldn’t (or perhaps couldn’t?) give much plot indication, he did tell MTV, “Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened yet…they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that.”

At any rate, NewsFeed plans to prepare for the potential upcoming release by brainstorming our own catchy film titles. Bill and Ted’s Geriatric Jaunt anyone?
