Beyoncé Booed at Met Gala’s Red Carpet

From her multi-platinum selling records to her stellar perfectly choreographed performances, it’s not often that Beyoncé is greeted by booing crowds when she graces the red carpet. But at last night’s “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, that’s just what Beyoncé faced when she and her husband rapper Jay-Z refused to pose for more than a moment in front of photographers.

Perhaps her short-lived moment of getting snapped boiled down to the burden she faced ahead: A mountain of stairs in a glamorous (yet crippling) Pucci dress. With the assistance of two people on her side, as documented in this video, she’s seen barely teetering up each step in the more than figure hugging frock.

Let’s just hope the star didn’t cry herself to sleep that night after Jay-Z tried to cut her out of it. NewsFeed agrees there’s something to be said for a bootylicious dress, but sometimes looking fabulous isn’t worth the health and safety risk.
