One of the world’s most iconic sports car makers has taken a turn for the family-friendly and made a hatchback.
After German car maker Porsche came out with the Panamera, Ferrari ended up designing a sports car with family in mind.
The Ferrari FF — which stands for “four seats, four-wheel drive,” sells for $300,000. If you can get hold of one, that is. Ferrari will manufacture only 800 this year and the production, artificially low per company tradition, is already sold out.

The hatchback sports an unusually large (in a European sports car at least) 6.3-liter V12 engine, which should guarantee fire-breathing performances when you’ll do your groceries. How’s that for a family car!
The FF will be delivered starting this month to the lucky 800. As the chairman of Ferrari Mr Luca di Montezemolo told the New York Times, “Ferrari used to be the car that you kept in your garage, took out to polish and show, and put back into the garage. Today, people want to do more with a car.”
