Sad Monday news alert: one of our favorite Jackasses has died.

Ryan Dunn, the bearded prankster from the MTV series and subsequent movie franchise, Jackass, where he became intimately acquainted with a toy car (we’ll say no more on that incident), has reportedly died in a car accident that happened early Monday morning in Pennsylvania.

The Associated Press is reporting that the one accident crash took place near the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester, where the car went off the road and burst into flames. There was another passenger in the car, though Dunn was reportedly identified by his tattoos, his passenger has yet to be identified. Police suspect that speed was a factor in the accident.

Dunn appeared on Johnny Knoxville’s Jackass from 2000 to 2002 as part of the CKY Crew with friend Bam Margera, where the group filmed themselves doing inane and dangerous stunts for laughs. (via Associated Press)
