The teaser trailer for the next installment in the Christopher Nolan rebooted Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, has been released by Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures and so far, so good.

Though the trailer doesn’t reveal much more than a bed-ridden Gary Oldman insisting that Batman must return, we’ve been given enough details in recent months to know that good things are coming our way; the cast includes Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard and, of course, Christian Bale as Batman.
As exciting as it might be to hear even a whisper of Bale’s Batman growl again, don’t get too fired up yet: the film’s not out for another year.
