And now: A public service announcement from NewsFeed.

We are urging Justin Bieber to take good care of himself, because the preteen girl population cannot do without him. The reason for our concern is not because we feel like a parent to the pint-sized pop star (though he has grown up before our very eyes) but because he crashed his Ferrari in the Studio City section of Los Angeles. This was not the sort of hit that Bieber was hoping for.

The 17-year-old bumped into a Honda car, but thankfully neither driver was injured in the collision. Los Angeles Police Officer Gregory Baek confirmed that Bieber was involved in “a very minor collision” on Tuesday afternoon and that no police report was taken.

Yet this is becoming an unfortunate string of car-related events for the Biebs: it’s only been a month since he was pulled over by the police while driving singer Sean Kingston’s Rolls Royce convertible in Miami.

And while the pair were allowed to go on their way (it’s believed that the police felt it was suspicious that two youngsters were driving such an expensive car), the rumor mill was abuzz that his girlfriend Selena Gomez did not care for the attention that the incident drew to her beau.

It must have somewhat taken the gloss off his appearance Sunday at MTV’s Video Music Awards, where he won best male video for his song “U Smile.” (via Daily Mail)
